It’s March 18th and like most of the world, I’m stuck at home due to COVID-19.
My in-person classes at Pitt have been canceled so the remainder of my last semester of college will take place online. Restaurants are closed, the gym is closed, people are working remotely, the government is urging people to limit gatherings to 10 people or less, and it’s impossible to go a day without hearing the words “social distancing.”
Though we’re all stuck inside, good things can still happen during this time.
Take this time as an opportunity.
Use it as a period for self-growth.
Do something you’ve always wanted to do like writing a book or learning a new language.
Take the opportunity to work out, cook more, or meditate.
Gain new skills, develop deeper knowledge, and become more marketable.
And most importantly, spend time with your family.
In a few months when this all calms down, become someone you’ve always dreamed of.
I’m using this time to write more and publish a daily 60-second podcast. Follow along for episodes on what I’m doing to get 1% better every day.
