What Will People Learn From You?

I’ve always said life is about people. No matter what activity we do, when we leave our houses everyday, it is the people that we encounter that help to make or break our day.

You see, every person that comes into our lives is a new learning experience.

No matter how people treat you, there is something new to learn from them.

That one person who is always there for you shows just how much of a difference an individual can make in one’s life.

Or that coach who pushes you to extremes during practice shows the value of continuous hard work towards a goal.

Or that boss who is able to bring a group of people together to build something amazing shows how much good leadership can make a difference in a company.

Or even just that classmate who lends you a pencil during class shows how such a simple act of generosity can help to make someone’s day go a little more smoothly.

We learn from those around us. And others do the same to us.

That’s what being a person is all about.

No one’s perfect. Everyone’s going through something. We all have our own problems. But that’s okay.

Together we help to figure out things that we didn’t know before.

Whether it’s teaching what to do or what not to do, each person has something to learn from. Never forget that.

Whether a person is nice or mean to you, can’t stop spending time with you or ignores you, loves you or can’t stand you, there is a lesson to learn.

It’s from learning from others that we figure out how we live our lives.

What will people learn from you?
