The Meaning Of Life

I think a lot of people believe that there is only one meaning of life. That we were put on this Earth to contribute in some way then check out.

This meaning can certainly suffice for some people, but I don’t think that it’s the only meaning.

I think the meaning of life comes down to whatever you see it as.

We each give our own lives meaning.

We all are interested in different things. What gives me purpose may not be what gives purpose to another person.

I love creating things so I’m going to do all that I can to create as much as possible. I have plans to continue writing, make music, and create whatever else I want to in the future. Creating gives my life meaning.

But that’s not what might give another person meaning.

There is just so much to do in this world. Whether it’s helping others, coaching a youth sports team, running a business, or volunteering, there are infinite ways to what can give someone’s life meaning.

And it doesn’t have to stop at just one meaning. Along with creating, I want to help people, eventually run a business, and leave this world better than when I got here.

I think what it really comes down to is how you spend the time that you are alive. We only get so much time, so you have to take advantage of every second of it.

Life is fragile, probably a lot more fragile than we think. It can literally change in an instant.

That’s why you can’t waste any time.

We were put on this Earth to experience every moment, to take risks, to do things that push us out of our comfort zone, and to do the things that we love.

Sure, life has its ups and downs. You may lose touch with people you were once close with, make mistakes, or feel like you are not in the right place, but everything is a learning experience.

Every day offers the opportunity to learn and to grow. An opportunity to see the person that you really are. And an opportunity to make the next day even better.

So don’t just exist, go outside an live. Do the things that you really want to do and experience everything this world has to offer. Only then will you find meaning.
